Yoga and More Classes

“We are not going to change the whole world, but we can change ourselves and feel free as birds.”

~The Yoga Sutras

Yoga classes are offered at a variety of levels, times and locations, as detailed below. At Lifeline, yoga is not a competitive sport. It isn’t about who has the best gear or can execute the perfect headstand. It’s about connecting with our bodies, quieting our minds, opening our hearts. Modified poses are always given as an option; your body will tell you what you need and you’ll learn to listen. Karen demonstrates various asanas at different degrees of difficulty in every class and works diligently to create a safe (and often playful) space for you to listen to and learn from your own body’s wisdom.

“Yoga practice can make us more and more sensitive to subtler and subtler sensations in the body. Paying attention to and staying with finer and finer sensations within the body is one of the surest ways to steady the wandering mind.”
